Hello, Heartbeats! This week’s general collective reading indicates that the best thing we can do at this time is to meditate. The tarot deck we’re using is The Original Rider Waite, accompanied by two oracle decks: Moonology and Angelarium – details at the end of the reading. Let’s proceed. Quietly. Shh!
With emotional detachment followed by centering in truth and leading to expansive completion, we almost have the textbook definition of meditation. The two additional advice cards speak about focus and silence, adding confirmation and support.
The Eight of Cups indicates that perhaps we’ve grown tired of too much emotion, and we’re ready to leave it behind for a while, embracing a rational, analytical approach. As feelings – positive or negative – intensify, so does the need to balance them with logic and reality checks.
The King of Swords represents just that. He embodies judgment, logic, and objective truth. He is confident in his intellectual abilities. In the context of this reading, especially taking into account the similarities with the depiction of Shateiel, the energy of the King of Swords could translate to being present and alert in the moment.
The World card symbolizes the completion of a cycle, the rounding up and expansion of one’s perspective and possibilities. It is the last card of the Major Arcana, therefore it indicates the successful ending of a personal journey. By the end of this week, this energy could be available to us if we take the route of the King of Swords.
The two advice cards emphasize the idea of meditation.
Although the Fixed Moon card says “Hold your vision”, that is not the only message it transmits. Visually, it is also a card of silence. There is nothing to suggest the presence of life or any potential source of sound in the picture – only the bare mountaintops immersed in stillness. This card of silent focus is in perfect harmony with Shateiel, the Angel of Silence, who brings the necessary conditions for us to hear our thoughts and let them dissolve in pure awareness.
So, turn off all distractions, find a place free of background noise, and sit in stillness, filling yourself with cleansing and healing silence. Sit in your body, sit in the moment, sit in your throne, above emotional ups and downs, detached from external factors – for now. Do this right, and when it comes back (it inevitably will), you’ll tackle all the noise better than ever before. The World card promises that.
